The Blue School is an alternative grade school dedicated to integrated academic, social, and creative experiences for children. Light and color proved to be important material considerations throughout this modest addition and renovation. One area of particular interest is the stair where unique color washes of reflected light bleed into the stairway to aid wayfinding at floor entries.
